BIG BEATS
From March 20-30 Carrel will be learning Brooklyn-based choreographer, Joanna Kotze’s BIG BEATS (2021) alongside a cast of his colleagues in the School of Dance. The reconstruction of this work will take the stage during Spring Dances on April 10-11.

April 18-19, Carrel will be attending the Laban Guild Conference at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. At this prestigious conference, Carrel will be presenting research from his thesis project IN TENSION and will be discussing the process of engaging with archive Labanotated scores in a contemporary creative space.
